"An artistic recreation of the record-breaking endurance run made by the Glˆckler-Porsche in September 1951 at the MontlhÈry track in France. Walter Glˆckler, Richard von Frankenberg, Huschke von Hanstein, Hermann Ramelow, Petermax Muller, and Dr. Ferry Porsche were all involved and are represented by the figures in the sculpture.
